Help Us Expand the Ministry of the Biblical Ballot Measures Voters Guide!!
In 1996, we helped Oregonians evaluate 23 ballot measures from a biblical perspective. This 1997 Guide brings you some hard-hitting but we hope Scripturally reasoned positions on the two Measures we will vote on this year. According to the 1998 Initiative Log found on the Oregon Secretary of State's Elections Division Webpage there are already fifty initiative petitions being circulated for the 1998 ballot! This means we will probably have another large crop of ballot measures to be voted on in 1998.

We are committed to bringing the Bible to bear on the Oregon political scene. We are committed to providing a consistent biblical testimony on the issues of our day. We are committed to bringing you our understanding of Scriptural truths in an effort to help you evaluate 1998's Ballot Measures. Let's face it - where else can you turn to get this sort of outspoken biblical reasoning on the issues of our day? Who else is willing to step up and challenge Oregonians to regard the Word of their Creator, Sustainer and Judge as they mold their views on public policy issues?

Of course we don't have the last word on the issues. But we do think it is high time that Christians engage in the public dialogue over public policy issues, asserting the supremacy of Christ and His Word.

The Parents Education Association stepped up in 1985 and has been advocating successfully for Christian home and private schoolers ever since. Now, PEAPAC is speaking to a much broader range of issues. But our standard is the same - the Word of God as contained in the sixty six books of the Bible. Our goal is the same - the exaltation of Jesus Christ in the power of the Spirit in every arena of life. And our need is the same - you.

Without the support of people like you, our voice will not be heard. We need biblically-reasoned feedback on the issues we address. We need the help of iron sharpening iron as we formulate biblical positions on the issues of our day. We need help distributing the Biblical Ballot Measures Voters Guide. Our distribution network is growing, but it is still small. And we need financial help to publish more and more Voters Guides.
