PEAPAC Explanation:
PEAPAC Recommendation: PEAPAC
Commentary: For years, we have tried to help you make good decisions as you elect lawmakers, and approve or disapprove ballot measures. But if our judges don’t uphold the laws that are passed, or if they reinterpret them in such a way as to negate the original intent, all of our work has been in vain. Time after time, ballot measures have been overturned, watered down, or kept from the ballot by over-reaching judges. Cleary it is a necessary part of Christian citizenship to try to see good judges elected, who are a visible and active representation of God and His justice in our world. In the Lord’s Prayer, we ask that God’s will might be done on earth s it is in heaven. The implication for this Measure is that Christian citizenship mandates that we work to get good judges elected, who are a visible and active representation of God and His justice in our world. Isaiah 33:22 says “The LORD is our Judge, The LORD is our Lawgiver, The LORD is our King; He will save us.” We seek to honor our Savior by electing lawgivers and governors who will honor Him by protecting and serving His people. And we must also diligently seek to elect men who will be faithful judges as they bring God’s justice to the earth. This Measure goes a long way towards helping us accomplish this vital task. Please vote Yes on Measure 21. This voters' guide produced by Parents Education Association, PAC. |
